The conference will be held in Mehran University Auditorium; A beautiful and exotically build, spacious state of the art building right in the heart of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) campus. It has the capacity of 500 persons, spacious stage enough to accommodate at least 50 people. It has separate 2-3 rooms including conference room, and a rehearsal room. The whole architecture is remarkably based on truss structure and does not use any pillar, as a result a brilliant spacious hall for every occasion.

ABOUT MUET

Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, was initiated as an engineering college of University of Sindh in 1963. Later in 1977, it was authorized as an independent entity. At present, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro is recognized as an eminent public sector engineering institute nationally as well as globally, being ranked as 1st in the province and 2nd in the country.  The university comprises of 31 departments, institutes, directorates, centers and one campus at Khairpur Mir's. The university offers a range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level incorporating various fields of engineering, science and technology.

Civil Engineering program at Mehran UET, Jamshoro is specially designed to reflect the needs of community at regional, national and international levels. Department of Civil Engineering targets to produce quality professionals that maintain the integrity, honor and dignity of their profession, move forward, and actively participate in the development of society. The department of Civil Engineering is proudly organizing an International Conference on ‘Sustainable Development in Civil Engineering (ICSDC 2017)’, 23-25 November, 2017. The conference covers almost all the fields of Civil Engineering such as; Structural Engineering, Geo-Technical Engineering, Highway Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Earthquake Engineering and Construction Management.
